what we do
We're living through history. We have never been more isolated and yet never seen such a collective global experience. While we hear conversations about things going 'back to normal,' we'd like to suggest that things don't go back to the way they were at all. We'd like to be apart of the movement of individuals that care enough to facilitate the shift into a new era and align our voices with those working towards a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.
The #RISEUPMOVEMENT is geared towards sparking the activist in each of us through awareness, community events & empowerment-based workshops.
'Rise Up' Workshops
Sponsored by Massey Hall, this is a workshop for students
grades 6 through 9 - geared towards social justice and healthy self-esteem.

Liz Lokre shares her story of overcoming bullying at a young age and the ways music and community building helped her find her voice. By the end of this workshop, students will have answered the following:
1. What are my strengths?
2. What issues am I passionate about?
3. How can I use my strength to make an impact?
Want to bring the "Rise Up! Workshop" to your school? An information package will be sent upon request.
